A tight game was settled in the last minute when a brave comeback from Magham Down saw the Baptist’s lose their 100% record.

Magham took the lead against the run of play when a deflected cross was headed back across goal and just past the outstretched hands of keeper Tim Nunn.

Having been denied by tight offside decisions on a couple of occasions, top scorer Rob Usherwood broke through to equalise midway through the half.

The second half saw the Baptists storm into a two goal lead, first through a penalty from captain Matt Lee after Usherwood had been half back, then Ant Hunter bundled the ball in having been player through.

As the game reached the final fifteen minutes Magham through caution to the wind and it paid off as they quickly got back on level terms before scoring the winner following a scorching break down the left wing in injury time.
