This match was conceded as a one-nil defeat as a broken leg was
suffered by midfielder Stuart Batchelor during the second half. The only real
moment of action in the first half was the goal by Robertsbridge, when a harshly-given
free kick was curled in on 35 minutes.
The second half contained a couple of half chances for Battle, but on 78 minutes Stuart went in for a challenge and was clearly seriously hurt. As a result BBFC conceded the game to Robertsbridge at the current scoreline, and this was agreed by both teams and the referee.
